Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Professional and Adult Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.


Vice President, Finance and Administration – Montreat, NC — The Vice President, Finance and Administration provides stewardship over the use of college resources, advice to the President, Board and President’s cabinet on financial issues, and is responsible for delivering support services to enhance the education and mission of the college.

Director of Alumni Relations – Montreat, NC — This 12-month, full-time, exempt position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement, and manages alumni relations at Montreat College, including alumni communication, giving, events, and programs.

Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing – Montreat, NC — The Vice President is responsible for the development and implementation of retention, recruiting and marketing strategies consistent with the strategic plan and mission of the college.

Assistant Director of Financial Aid for the School of Arts and Sciences – Montreat, NC — The Assistant Director of Financial Aid will assist students and parents with the financial aid process, including awarding within full compliance of state, federal and institutional regulations.

Admissions Counselor – Montreat, NC — The Admissions Counselor position is an entry level student recruitment role, serving as the college’s primary point of contact with prospective students.

Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Athletic Training Professional – Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified professional to serve as an Assistant Professor/Athletic Trainer in the Exercise Science/Athletic Training Concentration.

Part-time Adjunct Faculty – Inorganic Chemistry Lecture and Lab – Montreat, NC — To teach introduction to chemistry for the science major. Topics considered include an introduction to the field, classification and measurement, nomenclature, mass relationships, reaction types, atomic structure, and properties of gases.

Assistant or Associate Professor of Youth Ministries and Biblical Studies – Montreat, NC — Faculty position in the Department of Biblical, Religious and Interdisciplinary Studies instructing Youth Ministry, Christian Education, and Bible courses, overseeing internships, academic advising and additional responsibilities as outlined in the Faculty Handbook.

Part-time Student Accounts Assistant for the School of Professional and Adult Studies – Charlotte, NC — Job will be to assist the SPAS Student Account Manager in clerical duties.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program – Raleigh-Durham, NC and Morganton, NC — Montreat College is currently seeking to fill two full-time Assistant/Associate Professor positions for the newly added Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) within the School of Professional and Adult Studies (SPAS).

Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach – Montreat, NC — The Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach provides administration of all aspects of the golf program.

Director of Nursing – Montreat, NC — The Director of Nursing provides oversight of RN to Post-degree programs: planning, development, implementation and evaluation.  The director also develops and provides leadership in curriculum development for the RN to Post-degree programs.

Director of Student Accounts – Montreat, NC — The Director works under the direction of the VP for Enrollment Management analyzing, problem solving and maintaining student accounts. This position is primarily responsible for student accounts receivable.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Adjunct Faculty Positions — The Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montreat College is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counseling, Counseling and Counselor Education, or Counselor Education and Supervision.


School of Professional & Adult Studies Faculty Positions — Adjunct faculty participation in our expedited degree programs for working adults. Ongoing.
