Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Adult and Graduate Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.

 

Admissions Representative — Morganton, NC — The Admissions Representative – Morganton is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Graduate Studies programs at Montreat College. 

Residence Hall Director (Female) and Director of Student Engagement— Montreat, NC — The position of Residence Hall Director is a vital role in fulfilling Montreat College’s Christ-centered mission. A Residence Hall Director serves students in a co-curricular capacity within the residential environment through planned and unplanned educational opportunities, formal and informal. 

Business Program Director/Assistant or Associate Professor of Business — Charlotte, NC — Program Director will serve graduate and undergraduate business programs in the School of Adult and Graduate Studies. 

Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Human Services — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified candidate to serve as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Psychology and Human Services. This is a full-time, ten month teaching position.

Director of Campus Safety — Montreat, NC — The Director of Campus safety is accountable for leading, promoting, and achieving the mission of the Campus Safety Department by serving the campus community; promoting the mutual responsibility of campus safety and striving for a safe and orderly campus learning environment.

Assistant Women’s Basketball — Montreat, NC — The Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach will be responsible for carrying out duties assigned by the Head Coach or the Director of Athletics. These responsibilities are targeted towards the spiritual, academic, and athletic growth and wellness of the student-athletes. 

Reference & Instruction Librarian — Montreat, NC — The Reference and Instruction Librarian is responsible for the development and implementation of the library instruction program and for the provision of reference services to all constituents of Montreat College.  

Records Specialist — Montreat, NC —  The Records Specialist provides support to members of the Office of Records and Registration Director, Associate Director and Assistant Director and plays a key part in maintaining data quality for the School of Adult and Graduate Studies.

Assistant or Associate Professor of Communications — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified candidate to serve as an Assistant/Associate Professor of Communication. This is a full-time position.

Systems Administrator — Montreat, NC — The Systems Administrator is a full-time, twelve-month position responsible for providing programming and IT infrastructure support for Montreat College. The position is the main support for the infrastructure of the college’s Web site as well as systems (Linux and Windows servers and Windows and Mac workstations) support for the technology department.

Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified candidate to serve as Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research. This full-time position is key to assessing, tracking, and reporting key performance indicators for the campus.

Database Administrator — Montreat, NC — The Database Administrator works under the direction of the Director of Technology and is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the Montreat College database environment including Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL and Microsoft Access.

Graphic Designer — Montreat, NC — The primary responsibility of the Graphic Designer is to communicate the Montreat College brand visually across all print and digital projects. 

Admissions Representative — Charlotte, NC — The Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult and Graduate Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Adjunct Faculty in the school of Adult & Graduate Studies —  Asheville, Charlotte, Morganton, and/or Online — Adjunct faculty teaching opportunities are available for undergraduate and graduate programs.
