Staff Positions
Admissions Counselor for Adult & Graduate Studies — Asheville, NC — The Admissions Counselor is responsible for creating a distinctively positive experience for prospective students such that appropriate students recognize and respond to the benefits of enrolling at Montreat College.
Content Marketing Specialist – Carolina Cyber Center — Remote or Montreat, NC — The Content Marketing Specialist will be required to research and define desired target audiences, manage the content creation and publishing process, and monitor prospective student, customer, and content metrics.
Graduate Assistant for Student Financial Services — Montreat NC — The Graduate Assistant(s) for SFS will assist counselors and administrators with customer service and the communication flow regarding financial aid and student account information.
Graduate Assistant: Cheer/Dance Coach — Montreat, NC — The Cheer/Dance Coach (G.A.) will lead all aspects of a competitive cheer/dance program and is responsible for, but not limited to the integration of Christian faith, and the recruitment, retention, and academic success of student-athletes.
Proposal Coordinator — Remote — The Proposal Coordinator for the Carolina Cyber Center will find, vet, and manage RFP/RFQ/FRIs published by municipalities, counties, state, and federal government agencies that fit the center’s range of services and prepare compliant compliant responses to RFP/RFQ/FRIs of varying size and scope.
Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach — Montreat, NC — The Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach will oversee all aspects of the women’s lacrosse program and is responsible for, but not limited to: integration of Christian faith, and the recruitment, retention and academic success of the student-athletes. In addition to coaching, this position requires control and oversight of budgets and scheduling of athletic practices and competitions.
Admissions Counselor — Montreat, NC — Promote Montreat College to qualified prospective students and the people who influence them. Manage a portfolio of students based on academic programs and implement successful strategies that lead to meeting aggressive enrollment goals through consistent processes using creativity, persistence, personal appeal, excellent service, and a compelling consistent message.
Director of Advancement Services — Montreat, NC — Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, this employee will provide leadership and strategic management of donor information to support the College’s fundraising and communication to external constituents. This position will provide leadership to all aspects of gift processing, prospect research, data entry, data improvement, reporting, and list creation.
Area Coordinator (RD) — Montreat, NC — The Area Coordinator functions as Residence Hall Director over multiple complexes and is a vital role in fulfilling Montreat College’s Christ-centered mission. This role serves students in a co-curricular capacity within the residential environment through planned and unplanned educational opportunities, crisis response, management of the complex facility, supervision of the Resident Assistant staff, responding to Student Handbook violations, and other administrative needs. This role plays a critical part in relational retention efforts and supporting holistic student success.
Honors Program Coordinator/Residence Director — Montreat, NC — Montreat College is seeking an energetic and motivated individual who is committed to the Christian liberal arts and its call to love God and neighbor by serving as our Program Coordinator & Resident Director for the Montreat College Honors Program. This individual will take the lead on building out the programming for our honors community outside of the classroom curriculum, including the Living Learning Community for three honors houses. As the Honors Resident Director this individual will also work closely with Residence Life to respond to crises in their honors houses, to manage the use of the houses, to supervise their RAs, and to respond to student handbook violations. This is an 11-month position.
