Below is a listing of positions currently available at Montreat College, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, North Carolina. The School of Adult and Graduate Studies is our adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.

Information Systems Support Specialist — Montreat, NC — The Information System Support Specialist works under the direction of the Director of Technology and is responsible for supporting software and computing needs of all students, faculty and staff.  Some travel will be required. This is a twelve-month position.

Head Women’s Volleyball Coach — Montreat, NC — The Head Coach is responsible for the recruitment, retention and academic success of student athletes.  The Head Coach is expected to affirm, model, and cultivate the Christ-centered mission of Montreat College and the Athletic Department.

Covid-19 Coordinator — Montreat, NC — This role is responsible for serving in an ‘on-call’ capacity as a first responder to Covid-related needs of the college. This role’s primary focus is on students, but when necessary will assist in addressing staff/faculty needs as well. This is temporary position to assist the Student Life department with employee & student COVID related communications for the duration of Covid when school is in session at approximately 28 hours per week

Assistant Covid-19 Coordinator — Montreat, NC — This role is responsible for serving in an ‘on-call’ support capacity as a first responder to Covid-related needs of the college. This is a temporary position to assist the Student Life department with employee & student COVID related needs as needed. This role will function when school is in session at approximately 28 hours per week (some weeks may necessitate more hours while other weeks may require fewer hours).

Vice President for Advancement-Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) – Montreat, NC — Reporting to the College president and serving on the president’s cabinet, this executive will provide leadership for all College development and alumni relations functions, including annual fund, major gifts, and planned gifts. The CAO will provide counsel to the president, and guide staff and volunteers toward achievement of annually established goals toward the successful accomplishment of Montreat College’s vision. The CAO will develop an overall strategic plan to generate gift income for the College and conduct ongoing analysis and program implementation to achieve established goals.

Director of Community Life & Assistant Dean of Students – Montreat, NC — The Director of Community Life assists in providing leadership to the co-curricular campus life programs at Montreat with a focus on community life, the first-year experience, and serving our students well (retention). This full-time, 12-month, live-in position collaborates with the Residence Life team, the Housing Coordinator, and the VP for Student Life.

Junior Salesforce Administrator – Montreat, NC — The Junior Salesforce Administrator will provide daily administration and support of the Salesforce platform including but not limited to managing multiple profiles and roles, configuring Salesforce reports, dashboards, objects, fields, workflow, etc. Manage entry, processing, and ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of admissions data in support of the college’s recruitment and enrollment goals. Provide reports and data as needed for the effective functioning of the traditional and online admissions offices. Serve as admissions data liaison with internal constituents and third-party contractors. Ensure the effective use of the admissions CRM and data by staff, students, and key stakeholders.

Coordinator of Marketing & Communications — Montreat, NC — Montreat College is seeking a highly skilled communicator to join a team of dedicated marketing and communications professionals.

Security Officer (evenings) Approximately 10-month role; Aug. 1 thru mid-May — Montreat, NC — This role will function to support the mission of the Campus Safety Department by performing routine security duties as well as serving the needs of the students in implementing and/or supporting the shuttle schedule between various campus residencies.

Accounting Assistant— Montreat, NC —  This position provides Accounting assistance and clerical support to the Finance & Administration’s Business Office.
