Peer Tutoring

Taking classes at a liberal arts college means learning a broad variety of academic disciplines. Everyone has preferences and areas of strength. Likewise, everyone has a course or two that requires extra attention. Working with an Academic Fellow, Montreat’s peer tutors, can help you find the best study methods and learning strategies for your courses, especially the courses that you may find challenging.

Our Academic Fellows are undergraduate students who have earned a ‘B’ or higher in the classes they tutor, have a cumulative GPA of a 3.5 or higher, and have been recommended by faculty or fellow tutors. Academic Fellows go through training and are prepared with a variety of strategies for student success.

Tutoring at Montreat College is by appointment. You can request a tutor by completing this form. Please note it may take 24 hours before you receive a response.
