COMPASS Cybersecurity Program (Standard) (Sold Out)

Cybersecurity Summer Immersion Program (Standard)

Cybersecurity is one of the most rapidly expanding fields in the world today. The Air Force Association (AFA) CyberCamps program was created to continue to inspire students to pursue STEM related activities outside of the school year. This program emphasizes fun, hands-on learning of cybersecurity principles that are relevant and applicable to everyday life. Students will learn the importance of cyber safety and how to protect their personal devices and information from outside threats. Participants do not need to have any special skill set to participate in the standard program. Some very basic knowledge of computer hardware is helpful but not necessary. A basic English reading level is essential as many individual and group labs and activities are written directives and students must work alone and with small groups to accomplish tasks. The most important skill to possess is the passion to learn and a positive attitude!

COMPASS 2019 will take place June 16-21, 2019. The cost is $695.
