Our mission is to educate students through intellectual inquiry, spiritual formation, and preparation for calling and career. It guides everything we do, including academic advising. You’ll never be alone in your planning—it starts with support for your first year transition. We’ll help you develop time-management techniques and solid study skills. We’ll also help you integrate the mission and purpose of Montreat—and we can help you choose a major, too. As the years go by, we’re here to work out programs that accommodate potential changes or additional coursework.
Students in the School of Arts and Sciences programs can access four-year degree planning checksheets in the academic catalog to facilitate advising and prepare for registration. Checksheets are adapted according to the catalog changes each year, so make sure to choose the checksheet that coordinates with the year that you entered Montreat College.
The Registrar’s Office provides a starting point to help students with registration for classes, accessing and identifying class schedules, adding or dropping a class, and getting final grades and transcripts.
