Montreat College had a nursing program from 1954 to 1958. Montreat College, in conjunction with Memorial Mission Hospital of Asheville, NC offered a course leading to a Bachelor of Science degree granted by the College, and a diploma in Nursing, granted by the Hospital. These students began their three-years training in 1957 after having completed two to four years at Montreat College. The program was discontinued in 1959.
