A Commitment to Affordability

Montreat College strives to provide students with the high-quality education without excessive student loan debt. Our tuition is 25 percent lower than the national average for private colleges and universities. Unlike most schools, our annual fund is dedicated solely to academic and need-based scholarships—99 percent of our students receive institutional aid. This combination helps Montreat students incur 45 percent less debt than average college graduates. In addition to all this, we offer loan repayment assistance to select students through the Montreat College Commitment.
