The Montreat College Commitment is designed for students who meet certain criteria. Because eligibility varies, we encourage students and families to speak with an admissions counselor to explore whether this opportunity may apply to them.
How Does the Montreat College Commitment Work?
If your income after graduation is below $50,000, LRAP will help you repay your federal student loans, parent PLUS loans, and private alternative loans.
This program is provided at no cost to you or your family.

Getting started is easy:
- Accept your LRAP offer at myLRAP.org/Montreat. Parents can also accept on behalf of their students.
- Submit your enrollment deposit (if you haven’t already).
- Enroll and graduate from Montreat College!
