Journey to Spring 2026

Whether you're joining Montreat College for the first time or returning for another year, the Journey to Spring 2026 Tasklist will help you prepare for a smooth and successful start to the semester. This checklist includes important steps to complete before classes begin. The earlier you complete your items, the more prepared you’ll be to move in and start strong this spring.

Required Steps for Spring 2026 Check-In

ALL students (including residential and commuters) are required to follow these steps for spring check-in. Gear up for the Spring 2026 semester by reading these important instructions.

Suitable App Instructions

  1. Download the Suitable App from the Apple or Android app store
  2. Create an account with your Montreat login credentials
    *After you submit your enrollment deposit, your login credentials will be sent to the personal email address you provided (not your @montreat.edu address).
  3. Once logged in to Suitable, select the menu in the bottom right corner and open your Achievements
  4. At the top of the Achievements page, you’ll see a badge that says “Journey to Spring 2026”
  5. Click this badge and begin your work on the list.
  6. Select an item on the list and follow the prompts to complete it.
  7. Once the form is submitted for that step, it will be moved to the “pending approvals” section. Someone from Montreat College will review and approve your documents. If we have any issues, we will contact you.
  8. You can return to your Journey to Spring 2026 dashboard at any time to see your progress on the list.

Tips and Tricks

  • No documents will be uploaded directly to Suitable. Suitable will direct you to the Montreat Access Portal (MAP), which is where you’ll upload the necessary documents.
  • Once in MAP, you cannot upload more than one file at a time (i.e. if your medical document is two pages, it will need to be submitted as two separate documents).
  • All documents must be submitted in PDF format.

  • New Student Check-in: Monday, January 5th

  • Returning Students: Tuesday, January 6th

  • Welcome Week 2.0: January 5-6, 2026

  • Classes Begin: January 7, 2026
