Donald
R. Shepson, Assistant Professor of Bible and Christian Education, has a B.A. from
Wheaton College; M.Div. from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is
currently working toward the completion of his Ph.D. from Talbot School
of Theology (Biola University). Donald joined the Montreat family
in 2006.

Dr. Paul L. Owen,
Assistant Professor of Biblical and Religious Studies, joined the Montreat faculty
in 2001. He has earned a B.A. from LIFE Bible College; an M.A. from
Talbot School of Theology, Biola University; and a Ph.D. from
the
University of Edinburgh and has completed additional graduate study at
Dallas Theological Seminary. He has published articles in the
following academic journals: Trinity Journal; Journal for the Study
of the New Testament; Calvin Theological Journal; as well as two
LDS/Mormon academic journals: FARMS Review of Books; and Element:
An E-Journal of Mormon Philosophy and Theology. He also co-edited
and contributed to a volume entitled, The New Mormon Challenge
(Zondervan, 2002).

Dr. Mark A. Wells, Associate Professor of Philosophy and Ethics came to Montreat College in August 2006 with several years experience teaching philosophy, ethics, theology, and leadership studies. He is a graduate of Friends University (B.A.), Fuller Theological Seminary (M.A.T.), and Baylor University (Ph.D.). Dr. Wells is currently working on a book of essays on Christ-centered Servant-Leadership. His philosophical and theological interests include classical philosophy, apologetics, ontology, and theological anthropology. In his spare time he enjoys running, singing, soccer, hiking, reading classic novels, as well as attending concerts, ballets, operas, and sporting events.
Jane Frazier, Instructor
of Biblical and Religious Studies, joined the Montreat faculty in 2001.
She earned a B.A. from Agnes Scott College and an M.T.S. from Gordon-Conwell
Theological Seminary. She teaches in the
School of Professional and Adult Studies.
