The Montreat Cavalier volleyball team took on Shawnee State University, Brevard College, and Reinhardt College this past Saturday in a quad match at McAlister Gymnasium. Although the day did not turn out the way the Lady Cavs would have liked it to, they showed great determination and never gave up no matter what the score or who their opponent was.
All three games versus Shawnee State, the Lady Cavs put up a good battle; however, the experience of the Shawnee State Lady Bears was a little too much as they put the Lady Cavaliers away in three straight games: 25-18, 25-22, and 25-19. Shawnee State went on to sweep the tournament.
