Whether you’re starting fresh or you already have an associate degree, our Business Administration degree in North Carolina can help you improve your skills and prepare you for the complex challenges of a global economy. Topics in our Business Administration major include ethics, law, strategic management and more—and they are always centered in Christ.

Faculty members in our bachelor of Business Administration program are entrepreneurs and business leaders who are familiar with the demands of today’s business administration careers. They bring real-world expertise into the classroom, creating a unique approach to teaching that combines the theoretical with the practical. In many courses, student projects in our online business degree program involve problem solving and services for real-world business organizations. Classes are typically small, providing significant personal attention and one-on-one time with professors. Additionally, you can earn your Business Administration degree by attending class one evening a week—completing your degree in as little as two years. Or, if you’d rather earn your business degree by taking online business courses, you can study from home with our online degree program.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must submit the following credentials:

  • Montreat College Application for Admission
  • Official transcripts of all prior college coursework
  • A minimum of 54 transferable semester hours of regionally accredited college coursework (including a minimum of 50% general education credit)
  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 in all prior college coursework
  • At least two years of relevant full-time work experience
  • A score of 550 or above on the English as a foreign language test for students whose first language is not English

Our undergraduate Business Administration program builds on a strong liberal arts core with professional training in business administration. We’re focused on preparing you for a career in a variety of business organizations, and we network extensively to make that happen. Our students engage with the local business community through lecture series, workshops, visits and internships. In many courses, student projects involve problem-solving and services for real-world business organizations. Advanced business degree classes are typically small, providing significant personal attention and one-on-one time with professors. Additionally, all students complete an internship in their field of focus.
