Why Pre-Law?

Considering the American Bar Association does not recommend specific undergraduate majors for law school preparation, Montreat College offers a flexible pre-law program to accommodate diverse student interests. Our pre-law major covers a wide spectrum of legal areas, including business, labor relations, family law, cybersecurity, environmental law, history, and political philosophy. Students can choose elective courses to tailor their program for law school or careers in law-related fields. Graduates of Montreat's pre-law program gain a broad-based understanding of many aspects of the legal field, preparing them for various support roles or to take the LSAT for law school admission.
