Why Biology?
The biology minor offers a deep dive into the field of biology, exploring the links between biological knowledge and other scientific fields like chemistry, geology, physics, meteorology, and climatology. In addition to a fundamental grasp of basic principles, students also learn the ethical and worldview implications inherent in applying biological knowledge.
Montreat College’s biology major offers a unique Christ-centered approach with small, intimate classes and highly accessible faculty. Students work directly with faculty to develop research projects and career opportunities aligned with their goals.
