COMPASS Audio Production Program
Summer Immersion Program
The Audio Production program is designed to provide a hands-on experience in music production. With popular music production software, students will use real and virtual instruments to record, produce, and mix songs. Capstone projects involve the production of new original songs, and creative sound design for film/TV!
COMPASS 2026 will be held June 20-25, 2026.

- 7:30-8:30 a.m.: Breakfast
- 8:45-10:15 a.m.: Session 1 – Skill Assessment
- 10:15-10:30 a.m.: Break
- 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m.: Session 2 – Tips/Tricks Using Mac OS
- 12-1 p.m.: Lunch
- 1:15-2:45 p.m.: Session 3 – Crash Course in Audio Acoustics
- 2:45-3 p.m.: Break
- 3-4:30 p.m.: Session 4 – Logic Pro X
- 4:30-5:30 p.m.: Free Time
- 5:30-6:30 p.m.: Dinner
- 10 p.m.: Lights Out

Where You'll Stay
COMPASS attendees will stay in either Anderson Residence Hall or Howerton Residence Hall. Most rooms include two twin beds, two dressers, two desks, two chairs, two closets, one or two bookcases, and a private or shared restroom.

COMPASS attendees will dine in Howerton Dining Hall, which features multiple dining options to accommodate individuals with dietary preferences and allergies.
