Dr. Tora Kincaid

Dr. Tora Kincaid joined Montreat College in 2024 as a Visiting Assistant Professor for Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Dr. Kincaid specializes in clinical mental health counseling and counselor education and supervision, bringing six years of teaching experience from institutions such as Lenoir-Rhyne University, Capella University, and Montreat College.

What are your favorite things about working at Montreat?
The Christian values and visiting the campus

What are your hobbies or interests?
Reading, writing poetry, attending Comic cons, research, traveling, attending festivals, painting, drawing, singing gospel music, playing cello, ministry, presenting at professional conferences, museums, visiting cathedrals, trying new foods, cooking, hiking, and lifelong learning

What is your favorite thing to do or see in the area?
Visit the main campus.
