Hiking MYLES of Science
This is where science and adventure meet.
High school students join us for a week-long, adventure-based, science-intensive trip. Students hike, camp and assist park scientists with the collection of important field science data in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and surrounding Western North Carolina Mountains. The ecosystems here have some of the greatest diversity of flora and fauna of any place on earth. MYLES participants hike in small groups, led by qualified staff, and study the ecosystems while conducting field-based science.
