Montreat College announces 25 percent online tuition discount for first responders

As part of its continuing commitment to supporting first responders across our nation, Montreat College Online now offers a 25 percent discount on online tuition for all emergency response personnel. The discount, along with a flexible, self-paced online format, is aimed at helping those already serving their communities to pursue their career goals while balancing work, family, and education.

The First Responders Tuition Discount is available to students and prospective students who are actively employed as federal, state, or local law enforcement; firefighters (paid and volunteer); EMS personnel; and 911 center operators. Available online programs include, but aren’t limited to, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, Master of Public Administration, and a variety of professional undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates.

“We’re excited to be able to make Montreat College Online programs even more accessible to these men and women who have chosen to serve our communities in such profound ways,” said Andy Keith, vice president of adult and graduate studies at Montreat College. “By offering high quality, Christ-centered education with the flexibility to complete their studies from anywhere, our goal is to equip emergency response personnel to advance and flourish in both their careers and personal lives.”

For more than 30 years, Montreat College Online within the School of Adult and Graduate Studies has empowered students to acquire essential skills, complete their degrees, and advance their careers.
