Organizations

Our student organizations help you connect with others, sharpen your skills, and live out your calling. These groups reflect our community, rooted in Christ and committed to joyful service.

Student Government Association (SGA)

SGA gives students a voice at Montreat College. Through executive, legislative, and judicial branches, elected student leaders help shape campus life by representing student concerns, planning events, and partnering with staff to make Montreat even better.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)

Open to athletes and non-athletes, FCA gathers weekly for games, food, worship, a guest speaker, and prayer with a goal to grow in faith and live out God’s calling through sports and everyday life.

Lamp Post Literary Arts Magazine

If you’re a writer, editor, or artist, Lamp Post is for you. This student-led literary journal features original poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction, and art submitted by Montreat students.

Whetstone

Our student newspaper, Whetstone, gives you the chance to write, report, and reflect. Cover campus news, spotlight achievements, and spark important conversations through student-written articles and opinion pieces.

Other groups include: Montreat Adventure Club (MAC), Theater Ensemble, Gardening Club, Design Club, and more.
