Dual Enrollment

You’re still in high school, but looking for a place where you can be stimulated intellectually, challenged to see the connections between your faith and education, and earn some college credit. Here, you can belong.

 

Dual Enrollment admission requirements

Criteria for Dual Enrollment students:

  • The Montreat College Dual Enrollment program is open to all high school and home-schooled students who are juniors or seniors and at least 16 years of age (all others will be considered on a case-by-case basis).
  • The college will cover the tuition cost for one course per semester for the first year of enrollment (two semesters).
  • Additional or subsequent courses will include a special session fee.

Conditional admission requirements also include: 

  • A dual enrollment application.
  • A 500-word essay answering the following: What/How will you add to our campus community
  • An official copy of the high school transcript
  • A written recommendation from a school official
