Dr. Robin York joined the Montreat College faculty in 2018 as an assistant professor of Exercise Science. Prior to coming to Montreat, she taught at CA State University, Fullerton for 12 years, focusing on musculoskeletal anatomy and foundational biomechanics.
Dr. York earned her B.S. in Kinesiology from California State University, Fullerton, an M.S. in Kinesiology (Biomechanics) from Pennsylvania State University, and an Ed.D. in Higher Education/Adult Learning from Walden University.
In her free time, Dr. York enjoys exercising, shuttling her four sons to various activities, reading, or spending time with friends and family.
