Professor Jarrett Walbolt joined the Montreat College faculty in 2021. He earned his B.A. from Bethel University in Mishawaka, Indiana, and is currently completing his Ph.D. in exercise and nutrition sciences at Baylor University. While at Baylor, Jarrett taught lab and lecture courses in anatomy and exercise physiology. He also gained practical experience by helping coach Baylor’s track and cross-country teams.
Jarrett’s current research project focuses on treatments to lower the risk of cardiovascular disease in individuals with post-traumatic stress disorder. He has also helped mentor undergraduate students in multiple research projects within the fields of exercise and nutritional sciences.
Jarrett enjoys spending time with his wife Lexi and distance running with his dog Clyde.
