Montreat College is honored to announce the hiring of Stephen Largent as the new Alumni and Parent Relations Coordinator at Montreat College.
Largent most recently served as Student Life Operations Coordinator at Trinity International University in Deerfield, Illinois, a northern suburb of Chicago. At Trinity International, Stephen also gained experience as an alumni events specialist and an alumni relations ambassador.
As Alumni and Parent Relations Coordinator, Largent will spearhead initiatives aimed at nurturing lifelong relationships with Montreat’s diverse network of alumni and parents. In this vital role, Largent will engage with individuals across generations, geographical locations, and backgrounds, facilitating opportunities for them to connect, contribute, and celebrate their association with Montreat College.
“Stephen is a valuable addition to the Montreat community,” said Garrett Luck, Vice President for Advancement. “I look forward to the expertise and passion he has in building strong connections and the positive impact he can have in his role on the growth and development of Montreat College. His work will be important in strengthening our ties with and support from alumni and parents.”
After earning an associate degree in general studies from Navarro Community College in Corsicana, Texas, Largent continued his education toward a bachelor’s degree in biology and pre-medical at Trinity International University. He is currently earning a master’s degree in bioethics at Trinity International. He can play the piano, violin, and cajón and has served as a worship coordinator and chapel worship leader.
