Montreat students generally pursue one of our regular academic majors. Some opt to add a minor or a certificate program. And then there are a few who want to pull together a college program based on their own unique experience and objectives. We support this diversity by offering the option to design your own major—one that draws on two or more academic disciplines at Montreat. An Interdisciplinary Studies major is an individualized program of study developed in consultation with your faculty advisor. Your advisor will ensure that your course selection is structured to provide a broad-based exposure to the liberal arts. We understand that pre-established degree programs may not meet the needs of every student, so we created an option that does. When you’re ready to follow your own lead in Christ, you’re ready for Interdisciplinary Studies at Montreat. To learn more, please contact your academic advisor or Ms. Frawley:
