We foster the academic, social, personal, and spiritual development of students as they move through Montreat College—becoming graduates prepared to make a difference. Whether you need a tutor or academic counseling, we’re here for your success.
We keep an eye on your goals. And we monitor your academic performance (along with every other main campus student) through the Early Alert System. After a review of midterm grades through Early Alert, we contact students who show a need for improvement. Academic counseling and tutoring services are available for any reason—at all times. We also provide academic assistance for students with special needs.

If you’re registered for a class that makes you a little nervous, we suggest regular meetings with a skilled tutor. Our tutoring program helps students of all scholastic levels. We can help you find a private tutor, schedule accountability conferences, and find study skills counseling and resources which include note-taking, time management, and test-taking strategies.
