An Untitled Poem

By Ian Galey

I have no years to look upon
To make me old and gray.
I have no tales to share till dawn
Of bygones gone away.
I have no pause, no wisdom deep
Within my words to part.
I have no patience yet to keep
Within my beating heart.
I have no aching bones to tell
Of many days untold.
I have no sense to think and dwell
For I am young not old.
