The annual Inklings Weekend—inspired by the members of Oxford’s legendary Inklings group, which included authors J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Owen Barfield, and Charles Williams—returns to Montreat College April 5-7, 2019.

This year’s theme will explore the relationship between C.S. Lewis and his brother, Warren, and is titled “Jack and Warnie: Brothers and Friends.”

Featured speakers include Montreat College English Professor Don King, a prolific scholar of C.S. Lewis and his associates, who is currently working on a biography of Lewis’ brother, Warren Lewis. Union University Professor and C.S. Lewis Scholar Hal Poe will also be a featured speaker.

Inklings Weekend is April 5-7, 2017, at Montreat College. Registration for the event is $75 ($25 for students) and includes a Saturday evening banquet. For more information visit: https://www.uu.edu/societies/inklings/events/weekend19/.
