Montreat College announced today that its School of Adult and Graduate Studies (AGS) is re-launching a completely retooled MBA degree program and launching new undergraduate business degrees in marketing and human resource management. All of the new degrees will be offered in Charlotte, Asheville and online beginning in August 2018.
“Our new business degree programs have been designed to meet the needs of the market and provide our students with the skills and training necessary to advance their careers,” said Montreat College Director of AGS Business Programs Dr. Paul Gratton. “We’ve created a more focused MBA program and added two new concentrations designed to give our students the best chance at success. And our two new undergraduate majors were created in direct response to the needs of the job market. All of these programs help students develop their skills in our Business Department’s four areas of focus: character development, communication skills, critical thinking and business competencies.”
Montreat College’s redesigned MBA degree can be completed in just 30 credit hours—under two years for most students. Optional concentrations in cybersecurity management or innovation and entrepreneurship add nine credit hours each.
All MBA students learn the theory and practice of contemporary business management, with practical application from domestic and global perspectives. And they develop the foundational analytical, financial, and operational skills and competencies required for today’s competitive business environment.
