Montreat College announced today that the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has made a lead gift of $100,000 towards the college’s upcoming Keystone Scholarship Dinner. The Keystone Scholarship is Montreat College’s primary fund from which traditional undergraduate students receive tuition relief.

“We are very grateful to the BGEA for this generous gift to our students,” said Montreat College President Paul J. Maurer. “The relationship between Montreat College and the BGEA has continued to strengthen in recent years, and we are honored to have them as partners in our Christian mission.”

The Keystone Scholarship Dinner will take place on Wednesday, April 19, at 6 p.m. at the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove. The keynote speaker will be Dr. William E. (Bill) Brown, former president of two Christian universities, Bryan College (1993-2003) and Cedarville University (2003-2013). Dr. Brown is currently the senior fellow of worldview at the Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview. He also directs the Colson Fellows Program and is a nationally recognized speaker and author on culture and worldview.
