Montreat College announced today that its School of Adult and Graduate Studies has signed a Corporate Program Advantage (CAP) agreement with local non-profit organization Eliada Homes.
Eliada is one of the largest non-profits in Western North Carolina, with over 250 employees. With roots that stretch back over 100 years, Eliada’s mission is “helping children succeed.” And it does so though a wide variety of services: residential and day treatment, family foster care and therapeutic foster care, child development services (preschool, preK, after school and summer camp), transitional living and vocational training, and therapeutic recreation.
“Eliada is a wonderful organization,” said Montreat College School of Adult and Graduate Studies Executive Director Julia Pacilli. “And we’re proud to partner with them in what we hope will be a long and fruitful partnership.”
Montreat College’s School of Adult and Graduate Studies provides accelerated undergraduate, graduate, and online programs for adults on six campuses throughout North Carolina: Montreat, Asheville, Charlotte, Morganton, Rocky Mount, and Durham.
The CAP agreement between Montreat and Eliada stipulates that Eliada employees will receive discounted tuition and its leadership will be able to use Montreat classroom facilities periodically, while Eliada will help promote Montreat College programs to its employees and facilitate employee enrollment.
