In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis, the leading Christian apologist of the 20th century, the Montreat College Friends of the Library and the Presbyterian Heritage Center will host a film series featuring the life and work of Lewis. Internationally renowned Lewis scholar and professor Dr. Don King of Montreat College will lead a discussion after each film. All are welcome to attend.

The series will feature the following films, which will be shown at 2 p.m. in the Presbyterian Heritage Center in Montreat Conference Center on Assembly Drive:

  • January 19: “The Life of C.S. Lewis” by Day of Discovery
  • February 2: “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” by Disney 2005
  • February 16: “Through the Shadowlands” by BBC with Joss Ackland
  • March 2: “Shadowlands” by Attenborough with Anthony Hopkins
