Montreat College Professor Dr. Don King will visit Westminster Abbey in London, England this coming November to participate in a two-day conference, thanksgiving service and event in which a memorial stone will be unveiled in Lewis’s honor at Poet’s Corner.
The two-day C.S. Lewis Symposium and Commemoration are set to take place on November 22 and 23 at St. Margaret’s Church and Westminster Abbey on the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis to honor his legacy and career. The events will include lectures and panel discussions between a variety of international scholars, apologists and authors. Dr. King, Montreat professor and acclaimed C.S. Lewis author, will read Lewis’s “The Apologist’s Evening Prayer” as a part of commemoration services.
In addition to the events commemorating the 50th anniversary of the death of C.S. Lewis, Dr. Don King recently announced that his new book “A Shrine to Poesy: The Collected Poems of C.S. Lewis” will be released next spring.
