Willie Mangum Jr. ‘88 has been named president of the Alumni Board at Montreat College.  Mangum has served on the Montreat College Alumni Board since 2006. He has been the vice president for classes since 2011.

Mangum graduated from Montreat College in 1988 with a major in human services. He worked at Montreat College as the assistant director/interim director of admissions in the mid-nineties, and then continued on in higher education, serving as associate dean of enrollment/retention at Bethel University in McKenzie, TN. Mangum went on to Reformed Theological Seminary, where he completed a Master of Arts degree in theology and worked as the director of student services for the Virtual Campus. Mangum served with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association for a number of years and, more recently, spent another couple years in digital marketing at INSP.

Mangum left INSP in Dec. 2012 and in January of this year started Lydian Stone Entertainment, an independent production company where he serves as creative catalyst and managing partner. He and his wife Pam, also a Montreat alum (’88), currently reside in Charlotte, NC.
