Montreat College has invested in a number of articulation agreements, corporate agreements, and partnerships with other institutions, including several recent additions. These allow Montreat to reach out to more students, offering a variety of programs.
One recent addition, a Corporate Advantage Program agreement with Baldor Electric Company, allows students to study for an associate’s degree with a concentration in Business, a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with multiple concentrations, a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, a master’s degree in Business Administration, or a Master of Science in Management and Leadership. Financial assistance is also offered to Baldor employees through this agreement.
Alan Burnette, the human resources manager at Baldor Electric Company, anticipates a strong partnership between Montreat College and Baldor: “Baldor understands the importance of continuing education and encourages the self-development of its employees. We are very excited for the opportunity to partner with Montreat and offer additional incentives to help our employees meet their individual goals.” Burnette continued, “Montreat has been well represented through past and current students within our workforce and we look forward to a bright future together.”
Montreat also has a number of articulation agreements at locations including Blue Ridge Community College, Carolina College of Health Sciences, Haywood Community College, Mission Hospital, and Western Piedmont Community College, in addition to Johnson C. Smith University, NC Wesleyan College, and Gaston Community College. Several other agreements are underway, according to Julia Pacilli, Director of Enrollment for the School of Adult and Graduate Studies.
