As It Is In Heaven is a play about a Shaker community in the 1830s in Pleasant Hill, Kentucky. The balance of the community is upset when a newcomer starts to see angels. This sets off a chain of events that challenge the entire community’s faith. The elders must then find out whether these gifts are from heaven or simply the imagination of a misguided young woman. The audience is also challenged to determine what they find to be authentic expressions of faith.

The show’s cast includes Rebecca Shaw, Emily Vess, Jessica Strahan, Liz Huitron, Desiree Duff, Lizzy Brady, Tifaney Jones, and Lizzy Hinman. Associate Professor Callan White-Hinman is the director.
