Jonathan Shores Elected President of NCAEA

VP for Professional and Adult Studies Jonathan Shores Elected President of NCAEA.

At its annual meeting, the executive board of the North Carolina Adult Education Association elected Jonathan Shores, Montreat College Vice President for Professional and Adult Studies, as president. Shores served the NCAEA as the Vice President in 2011 and as a board member for the 2009 and 2010 terms.

“I am excited to serve my colleagues and to help promote public awareness of adult education services and issues within the state of North Carolina,” said VP Shores. “I look forward to advancing the vision of NCAEA, which is to be ‘the premier professional organization for advancing practical application with theory to address the needs of professionals working in continuing higher education, adult education, or as corporate trainers while supporting life-long learning in North Carolina.’”

Jonathan Shores has served as the Vice President of the School of Professional and Adult Studies at Montreat College since June 2010. He received both his MBA in Marketing and his BBA in Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Marketing from North Central University.
