Faculty Profile

Robert Boer grew up in the town of Simcoe, Ontario. He earned a Bachelor of Christian Studies degree from Redeemer College in Ancaster, Ontario, in 1992, with a double major in music and psychology. Teaching private piano and serving as organist and choirmaster at St. Thomas Anglican Church in Hamilton kept him occupied for a few years, but in the summer of 1994 he moved to Des Moines, Iowa, to work toward a Master of Music degree from Drake University, studying with Aimee Beckmann-Collier...
