ON
CAMPUS PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITIES
Once a year there is a Montreat College mainstage production
that offers performance and technical support
opportunities for freshmen on up. In addition each semester
there is a showcase of student theatre work. There are staged
readings of scenes written by student playwrights. Each acting
class and directing class presents a showcase of scenes for the
college community that shows the culmination of their semester's
work. This provides some exciting experiences of theatre that is
written, acted or directed by Montreat students.
TOURING
THEATRE ENSEMBLE
The Montreat College Theatre Ensemble provides further training

prison.
