Course Materials FAQ
Can my books be reserved and waiting for me when I come on campus?
Yes, for the fall semester in the School of Arts & Sciences only. Just contact
Lou Saeli in the Campus Bookstore,
lsaeli@montreat.edu,
828-669-8012, extension 3602.
How can I find the books I need for my classes?
Books are arranged alphabetically by subject and numerically by class
and section. Tags are color coded to make finding your books easier;
just look for the guide outside the bookstore and above the shelves in
the store.

Should I attend class before I purchase my books?
The books on the shelves are marked required or suggested as directed by
the professor. Lines get long and used books run out. You may want to
get ahead of the rush by buying your books early. Keep in mind the
return policy.
How does buyback work?
At the end of each semester in the School of Arts & Sciences, the bookstore conducts a
buyback of old
textbooks. You can receive up to 50% or more of the purchase price of
your used books. The amount could be substantially less depending on the
needs of the bookstore for that book.
What other items are available in the bookstore?
The bookstore strives to keep a large selection of items available. Snacks, school supplies, health and beauty aids, and a
large variety of college logo items are just a few of the things you
will find here.
