Requesting a
Transcript
To request a
transcript, you must submit a written request that includes
your full name, social security, dates of attendance or year
of graduation, and where you would like the transcript(s)
sent. If you attended Montreat College under a different name,
include that information as well.
Be sure to sign your request since your signature is
required by law for the release of any of your records to a
third party. Please also include your current address and
phone number since a confirmation will be sent to you once
your transcript is mailed. Transcript requests are normally
processed twice each week.
There is $2 fee
for each transcript you request that must be included with
your request for it to be processed. Requests that do not
include the fee will be returned. Emergency requests for a
faxed transcript can be accommodated but there is a $10
additional fee for this service (for a total cost of $12) that
can be charged to your credit card.

Regretfully, we are unable to accept
e-mail requests since your signature is required, or faxed
requests because of the fee associated with issuing a
transcript. Please note that Montreat College is not currently
set up to process a $2 credit card charge—only the faxed
transcript fee of $12 can be charged to a credit card.
