Here is a listing of positions currently available as a part of the student work program. Just click on the link for full description and contact the Supervisor to inquire about positions available.

 

Assistant Admissions Specialist – This position will serve in the recruitment of prospective students and families by providing campus tours, assistance on special events, and assistance in speaking with students and families.


 

Black Mountain Primary School Reading Tutor – The Reading Tutor will serve as an aid to young students in their development of reading in their curriculum.


 

Business Department – The Business Department Assistant will serve as an assistant to professors and staff throughout the business department by assisting in clerical duties, higher level research projects, etc.


 

Campus Store Document Center Clerk – The Document Center/Bookstore clerk will assist in the clerical duties involved in the campus bookstore and will serve frequently as a cashier to students and customers.


 

Cyber Security Assistant – The Assistant to the Cyber Security Department will work closely with the departmental staff and faculty to ensure that clerical tasks are complete, research in projects is complete and adequate, and will assist in any way needed.


 

Library Assistant – The Library Assistant will aid in assistance in the service of students and visitors in the library.


 

Math Tutor – The Math Tutor will assist and tutor students who are assigned by the Math Department faculty.


 

Music Department Admin Assistant – The Assistant to the Music Department will aid in the efforts of the Music Department staff and faculty.


 

Residental Line Server – The Residential Line Server will operate and assist in the Howertown Dining Hall and the Huckleberry Café at the direction of supervisor.


 

English Department Assistant – The Assistant to the English Department will assist with the Walker Percy Centennial, budgets, annual reporting, and scheduling meetings and the agenda.


Athletic Department – The game management staff will assist with the daily duties in the management and operation of athletic sporting events at Montreat College.
