Jessica Cannon - Senior Admissions Specialist

Jessica previously attended Jefferson Davis Community College and is currently a student at Montreat in the Bachelor of Science in Management degree program. She recruits for the business bachelor and master degree programs at the Asheville campus as well as online. During her spare time, she spends as much of it as she can outdoors, enjoying all that the Asheville area has to offer, such as kayaking, hiking, mountain biking, and yoga. She also enjoys participating in church activities, making handmade jewelry, traveling, and spending time with her beautiful daughter, fiancée, and dog.

John Duncan - Admissions Specialist

John earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Environmental Studies with a minor in Economics from UNC-Asheville. He is responsible for recruiting students for the business bachelor and master degree programs at the Charlotte campus as well as online. In his free time, John is an avid bluegrass musician, playing fiddle and mandolin with local area bands, Buncombe Turnpike, Blue Wheel Drive, and The Rounders.

Lyndsey Parham - Admissions Specialist

Lyndsey earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in English from UNC-Greensboro. Hailing from Asheville, Lyndsey most recently took a five-year hiatus to the Lone Star state of Texas. There, she taught Outdoor Education at a non-denominational Christian camp, became a chips and salsa aficionado, and learned the value of a good cup of coffee. Lyndsey is happy to be back in the mountains of Western North Carolina. She enjoys spending her time traveling abroad and can be seen on the ESPN SportsCenter highlight reel, playing city-league volleyball.

Patty Thompson - Community College Liaison

Patty earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Georgetown University and her Master’s from George Washington University. With a background in travel industry management, she spent 11 years teaching and performing research on tourism development within the University of Hawaii System. A newcomer to North Carolina, Patty lives in Hickory with her husband Steve. If not gardening or traveling, you will find Patty playing “Number One Farm Hand” to her husband on their North Carolina Century farm where they tend to the needs of ten cows, two barnyard cats and a seasonal barnyard guest, a Muscovy duck.

Ethel Kelly – Campus Advisor

Ethel is an alumnus of the Montreat College School of Professional and Adult Studies Master of Business Administration degree program and also teaches in the adult undergraduate program. She is responsible for recruiting students for the master degree programs offered through our partnership with North Carolina Wesleyan College at the Durham and Rocky Mount campuses. Her office is located at the NCWC Durham campus.
