With our Business Administration degree concentrations, you can gain specialized skills and knowledge in the field of your choice, putting you a step ahead as you enter the next phase of your career. Whether you’re starting fresh or you already have an associate degree, our Business Administration degree can help you improve your skills and prepare you for the complex challenges of a global economy. Courses in our General concentration in our bachelor of Business Administration program include Business Ethics, International Business, Economics: Micro and Macro, Leadership and Human Resource, and Managerial Communications.


With a concentration in Cybersecurity, you can gain the skills and knowledge it takes to become a valuable member of the IT workforce. Courses in this program cover topics like computer and systems security, network defense, Linux operating systems, and more.

This concentration is ideal for those who wish to seek IT certifications in A+, Network +, or Security+. And of course, all coursework at Montreat takes place within a supportive, Christ-centered environment designed to help you get the most out of your education.

Human Resource Management

Our Human Resources Management concentration takes a Christ-centered approach to the legal and ethical components of the human resources environment. Courses in this program cover key topics, including labor-management relations, business ethics, marketing management, and more.

In this program, you’ll complete an individual business project under the guidance of supportive, experienced faculty members. You’ll learn to generate a proposal, a report, and a presentation, and to problem-solve for a client organization.

Our Marketing concentration balances theory and applied learning through a Christ-centered approach – providing a broad, solid foundation in business marketing. Our marketing courses cover several important areas, including sales administration, marketing research, and marketing management.

Coursework in this concentration is designed to help you learn to identify customer needs, communicate information about products and services to customers and potential customers, price products and services, and find ideal marketing locations.

Admission Requirements

Applicants must submit the following credentials:

  • Montreat College Application for Admission
  • Official transcripts of all prior college coursework. An official high school transcript or GED certificate for students who transfer less than 24 semester hours of regionally accredited college coursework
  • A minimum of 54 transferable semester hours of regionally accredited college coursework (including a minimum of 50% general education credit)
  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.0 in all prior college coursework. At least two years of relevant full-time work experience
  • A score of 550 or above on the English as a foreign language test for students whose first language is not English
