With the Bible as the foundation, you will develop understanding in the essential qualities and preparation of an evangelistic message through identifying contextual dynamics, gaining the skills necessary to delivering the Gospel in a winsome, meaningful way, and learning appropriate, effective methods for inviting people to respond. Our on-campus and online Bachelor’s degree in Bible and Religion – Preaching and Evangelism offers a well-rounded education in biblical studies to prepare you to become a leader in church ministry, whether you live near one of our North Carolina campuses or on the other side of the world.
Your path to becoming a person of influence starts at Montreat College. Our Bachelor of Science in Bible and Religion – Preaching and Evangelism program is designed to prepare you for graduate studies or a career in ministry.
Curriculum in the Preaching and Evangelism concentration covers the Old Testament and New Testament, as well as fundamentals of the Bible and Christianity. Course titles in this degree program include:

The Preaching and Evangelism concentration features the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association School of Evangelism’s training curriculum in preparing and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. On-campus courses are five to six weeks each, meeting only one night per week. Online courses are also five to six weeks and meet in an online weekly format.
