Skyline Chili (Cincinnati-style chili. World famous! OK, Ohio-famous.)

What is a hidden talent that you have?
I cut my own hair.
If you could choose your age forever, what age would you chose and why?
Right now (early 50s). The next 10-15 years will be my peak years.
Where is your favorite place to vacation?
With Joellen: A little place we discovered in Jamaica.
With my children: Anywhere with a backpack.
If you were given a yacht, what would you name it?
What is the weirdest food you have ever eaten?
Cow’s heart (Peru).
What music are you listening to now?
Pandora (Norah Jones, James Taylor).
What person in the Bible do you most closely identify with right now?
What is your favorite cartoon character and why?
Dilbert. He points out much that is absurd in our work cultures. I enjoy satire.
What is your biggest pet peeve?

Baseball season (and fall).
What was your first paying job?
At 15, I worked at Pasquale’s Pizza in Cincinnati. I was managing the store within a few months and was getting paid $1.25/hour. Minimum wage was about $2.30/hour. I got up my nerve and asked for a raise. I was told “we won’t need your services any longer.”
What is the best gift you’ve ever received?
Grace. From God. From my wife. From my children and friends.
