Meet the Board of Trustees

Allen BellMr. W. Allen Bell is the executive director of the Atlanta Resource Foundation and a current resident of Atlanta, Georgia. He attends Atlanta’s Buckhead Church. His other interests include parenting teenagers and hunting quail, pheasant, and duck. Mr. Bell serves as a director of the board’s foundation.  
Bill DudleyDr. William E. Dudley is the senior pastor at Signal Mountain Presbyterian Church in Signal Mountain, Tennessee, and a homeowner in Montreat. His other interests include his grandchildren, mentoring, and Montreat.  
Claire EfridMs. H. Claire Efird is the owner of the Salt Shaker Bookstore & Café, a current resident of Wilmington, North Carolina, and a homeowner in Montreat. She is on the Missions Committee at Christ Community Church and volunteers at the Lifeline Pregnancy Center. Her other interests include reading, traveling, and Montreat. Ms. Efird is the vice chair of the board and also serves as a director of the board’s foundation.  
Rose Ann GantMrs. Rose Ann Gant is the owner of The Very Thing, Ltd., a current resident of Burlington, North Carolina, and a homeowner in Montreat. She attends the Church of the Redeemer and volunteers at The Village at Brookwood Retirement Community. Her other interests include the Montreat community.  
Will GrahamRev. William F. Graham IV is the executive director of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and a current resident of Swannanoa, North Carolina. He attends Bay Leaf Baptist Church and serves on the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Board and the Liberty University Board. His other interests include hunting.  
Polly Haigler

Dr. Polly C. Haigler is a retired associate professor of the University of South Carolina’s School of Nursing and a current resident of Black Mountain, North Carolina. She participates in the outreach ministry, women’s ministry and short-term missions projects at Christ Community Church in Montreat. She is active in the Black Mountain Center for the Arts, Carolinas Health Ministries Partnership Board, the USC College of Nursing Partnership Board, and mission work in Cuba. Her other interests include gardening, knitting, and journaling. Dr. Haigler also serves as a director of the board’s foundation.

 
William HaynesMr. William B. Haynes ’85 is the president of Sabai Technology and a current resident of Simpsonville, South Carolina. He attends Simpsonville’s Holy Cross Episcopal Church, is a Rotary Club member, and is a former missionary with YWAM. His other interests include travel, technology, health and fitness, and missions. Mr. Haynes is the chairman of the board and also serves as a director of the board’s foundation.  

George LoganPastor George K. Logan is a pastor at New Day Christian Church in Morganton, North Carolina. He serves on the board of the Strategic Alliance for Burke Youth and is a hospice, youth coach, and school volunteer. His other interests include swimming, biking, and reading.

 
Billy Mitchell

Mr. William A. Mitchell, Jr. is the retired chairman of Carter Real Estate and a current resident of Atlanta, Georgia. He is an elder and Sunday school teacher at North Avenue Presbyterian Church. He also is a member of the Glencastle Board, the Atlanta Resource Foundation, and the Community Foundation of Metropolitan Atlanta.

 
Beau MoffattMr. Richard “Beau” Moffatt III ’02 is an independent consultant and contractor and a current resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee. He is a community group leader at Calvary Chapel. His other interests include distance running and photography.  
Justin RambMr. Justin P. Ramb ’94 is the founder of BigEye Creative and a current resident of Orlando, Florida. He is an elder at First Presbyterian Church in Orlando. Mr Ramb also serves on the Apperance Review board for the City of Orlando and is a consultant for a number of other non-profit organizations in the United States. Mr. Ramb is the secretary of the board.  
Dale ReidMrs. Dale G. Reid ’62 is the retired vice president and creative director of Reid Associates, a current resident of Charlotte, North Carolina, and a homeowner in Montreat. She attends Calvary Church, where she teaches Sunday school and also teaches 4th grade at Calvary Christian School. She is a PTA volunteer and a member of the Montreat College Friends of Music, the Montreat College Board of Visitors, and the MRA President’s Council. Her other interests include Bible study, nutrition & health, tennis, hiking, and grandchildren.  
Ben ScottMr. Harold Benjamin “Ben” Scott, Jr. is the vice president of sales and marketing for Carlson Wagonlit Travel and a current resident of Minneapolis, Minnesota. He is a Christian Leadership Concepts facilitator at Christ Community Chapel and was a member of the 2012/2013 Leadership Akron Group. His other interests include running, hiking, canoeing, and camping. Mr. Scott also serves as a director of the board’s foundation.  
Dayle SeneffMrs. Dayle L. Seneff is a current resident of Winter Park, Florida. She teaches Sunday school and Bible school and is a member of the choir and Women’s Program at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church. She is also a member of the Geneva School Board of Governors. Her other interests include entertaining, event planning, reading, people, piano, quilting, and singing.  
Suzanne Sloan

Mrs. Suzanne Ross Sloan resides in Charlotte, North Carolina and is a homeowner in Montreat. She is a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Charlotte and is a retired elder of the PCUSA church. She is also a past president of the Women of the Church (PCUSA) and served on the Missions Committee of the PCUSA. She serves on the board of directors for Bible Study Fellowship International, and is on the board of advisors for Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Charlotte. Her other interests include bridge, walking, the Montreat community, and her grandchildren. Mrs. Sloan also serves as a director of the board’s foundation.

 
Mark SnoddyMr. Marcus F. Snoddy, Jr. ’80 is the president of Peachtree Executive Search and a current resident of Roswell, Georgia. He is the Guatemala mission trip leader at Roswell Presbyterian Church. He is a member of Rotary International and serves on the Good Samaritan Hospital Board of Directors. His other interests include skiing, hunting, and farming.  
Lynn VeermanMrs. Lynne P. Veerman is a retired office manager and bookkeeper and a current resident of Orlando, Florida. She is an elder, welcome team member, and mentor for young moms at First Presbyterian Church, Orlando. She is also a member of the Homeowners Association Board in both Florida and Colorado and a tutor at Heart of Mercy ministries.
