Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Professional and Adult Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.

Assistant Professor of History — Montreat, NC — Primary teaching duties include lower and upper level courses in both European and World History. The ability to teach Political Science would be desirable.

Residence Hall Director and Student Life Area Professional — Montreat, NC — The position of Residence Hall Director is a vital role in fulfilling Montreat College’s Christ-centered mission. A Residence Hall Director serves students in a co-curricular capacity within the residential environment through planned and unplanned educational opportunities, formal and informal.

Director of Extended Education & Outreach — Charlotte, NC — The Director of Extended Education and Outreach bears the primary responsibility for campus operations and staff at all Montreat College School for Professional and Adult Studies campuses.

Academic Advisor — Charlotte, NC — Under general supervision, the Academic Advisor position is responsible for supporting undergraduate and graduate students as they complete the academic requirements for graduation through the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Adjunct Faculty Positions — The Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montreat College is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counseling, Counseling and Counselor Education, or Counselor Education and Supervision.

School of Professional & Adult Studies Faculty Positions — Adjunct faculty participation in our expedited degree programs for working adults. Ongoing.
