Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Professional and Adult Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.


International Development Coordinator — Montreat, NC — The International Development Coordinator serves the president as the project manager for Montreat College’s entry strategy into China.

Admissions Counselor — Montreat, NC — The admissions counselor will promote Montreat College to qualified prospective students and to the people who influence them.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Cybersecurity — Montreat, NC — The candidate will be responsible for teaching in the traditional and non-traditional Cybersecurity programs.

Director of Online Education — Montreat, NC — The Director of Online Education serves as the liaison with key personnel to coordinate support for online faculty and students.

Director of Annual Giving — Montreat, NC — This 12-month, full-time, exempt position reports to the Vice President for External Relations. The primary responsibility of the Director of Annual Giving is to lead the fundraising planning and implementation for the Keystone Scholarship, the College’s annual fund.

Director of Creative Services — Montreat, NC — This 12-month, full-time, exempt position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement. The primary responsibility of the Director of Creative Services is to provide creative direction for college messaging, branding, and marketing campaigns, communicating the Montreat College brand identity visually across all college platforms.

Director of Financial Aid — Montreat, NC — The Director of Financial Aid leads the management and administration of the financial aid office and its functions.

Director of Teacher Education — Montreat, NC — The Director of Teacher Education role includes administrative leadership, oversight, coordination, and teaching responsibilities for the licensure program in Elementary Education.

Director of Faculty Recruitment & Development for Adult Studies — Flexible: Asheville or Charlotte campus, depending on candidate —  The Director of Faculty Recruitment & Development will oversee the recruitment and development of part-time faculty teaching in the School of Professional and Adult Studies at Montreat College. 

Director of Admissions — Charlotte or Asheville, NC — The Director of Admissions sets the tone for a high performance team, serving prospective students from the point of inquiry to initial registration. 

Associate Director of Admissions — Montreat, NC — The Associate Director of Admissions will assist in the development of an aggressive, creative, industry-leading recruitment model for undergraduate admissions. 

Assistant/Associate Professor of CMHC–Charlotte, NC — The Program Director will provide vision for the future of the program, oversight to curriculum, licensure requirements and accreditation standards. 

Academic Advisor – Asheville,NC — The Academic Advisor is responsible for supporting undergraduate and graduate students as they complete the academic requirements for graduation through the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

Academic Advisor – Charlotte, NC  (2 positions) — The Academic Advisor is responsible for supporting undergraduate and graduate students as they complete the academic requirements for graduation through the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

Academic Advisor (part-time) – Morganton, NC — This position is responsible for the recruitment and advising of undergraduate and graduate students for the Montreat College Morganton location. 

Academic Advisor-Veterans’ Outreach — Asheville, NC — This position is responsible for advising undergraduate and graduate students regarding degree completion requirements for available online programs as well as to the adult and graduate veteran student population. The position is also responsible for outreach to the veteran affairs population and local community. 

Admissions Representative – Asheville, NC —  The Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Professional Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Admissions Representative – Charlotte, NC (two positions available) — The Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Professional Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Admissions Representative – Morganton, NC — The Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Professional Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Admissions Representative – Online Programs – Asheville, NC — The Online Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Professional Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Administrative Assistant, Faculty Services — Asheville, NC — The Administrative Assistant for Faculty Services will provide administrative support for the Director of Faculty Recruitment and Development in the School of Professional and Adult Studies at Montreat College. 

Campus Liaison – Durham/Rocky Mount, NC — The Campus Liaison is responsible for the recruitment and advising for prospective graduate students regarding admissions and degree requirements, as well as enrolling students for the College’s graduate programs offered through the College’s partnership with North Carolina Wesleyan College. 

Administrative Coordinator for the School of Prof and Adult Studies — Asheville, NC — The administrative coordinator provides oversight for the PowerCAMPUS admissions set flow for the School of Professional and Adult Studies. 

Administrative Assistant for Vice President for Academic Affairs — Montreat, NC — This full time, hourly position assists the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA) and the Associate Deans with the daily operations of the Office of Academic Affairs.

Campus Services Coordinator  (part-time) — Asheville, NC — The Campus Services Coordinator sets the overall welcoming tone of the location assigned, greeting guests and visitors at the front reception desk and answering the campus incoming phone calls.

Campus Police Officer — Montreat, NC — Community-oriented campus police agency seeks motivated and qualified applicants for the position of Campus Police Officer.

Program Director of Adult Business Programs and Professor of Management and Leadership — Charlotte, NC — Program director will serve graduate and undergraduate business programs in the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

Database Administrator — Montreat, NC — The Database Administrator works under the direction of the Director of Technology and is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the Montreat College database environment.

Head Athletic Trainer — Montreat, NC — The Head Athletic Trainer oversees and manages all aspects of the school’s athletic-training program and is responsible for the planning, organization, direction and execution of programs associated with the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries.

Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach — Montreat, NC — The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will assist the head coach in the administration of all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program.

Bookstore & Document Center Manager — Montreat, NC — The Bookstore/Document Center Manager duties include all aspects of management involved in the operations of a retail store and one online bookstore (for general merchandise) and Document Center.

Library Circulation Manager — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a support staff person to manage circulation services in the Montreat College Library to support all college degree programs. Some evening and weekend work is required. This is a 12-month, full-time position that reports to the Library Director.

Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Athletic Training Professional — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified professional to serve as an Assistant Professor/Athletic Trainer in the Exercise Science/Athletic Training Concentration.

Financial Aid Counselor– Montreat, NC — The Financial Aid Counselor Supports the delivery of federal, state and institutional student financial aid and services to students in the School of Adult and Graduate Studies.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program — Morganton, NC — Montreat College is currently seeking to fill two full-time Assistant/Associate Professor positions for the Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) within the School of Professional and Adult Studies (SPAS).

Director of Nursing — Montreat, NC — The Director of Nursing provides oversight of RN to Post-degree programs: planning, development, implementation and evaluation.  The director also develops and provides leadership in curriculum development for the RN to Post-degree programs.

Special Events Coordinator — Montreat, NC — The Events Coordinator will plan and direct all logistical aspects of special events for Alumni and Advancement offices and on occasion facilitate college events as directed by the VP for Advancement.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Adjunct Faculty Positions — The Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montreat College is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counseling, Counseling and Counselor Education, or Counselor Education and Supervision.
