Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Professional and Adult Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.

International Development Coordinator — Montreat, NC — The International Development Coordinator serves the president as the project manager for Montreat College’s entry strategy into China.

Admissions Counselor — Montreat, NC — The admissions counselor will promote Montreat College to qualified prospective students and to the people who influence them.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Cybersecurity– Montreat, NC — The candidate will be responsible for teaching in the traditional and non-traditional Cybersecurity programs.

Director of Financial Aid — Montreat, NC — The Director of Financial Aid leads the management and administration of the financial aid office and its functions.

Director of Teacher Education — Montreat, NC — The Director of Teacher Education role includes administrative leadership, oversight, coordination, and teaching responsibilities for the licensure program in Elementary Education.


Director of Advancement Services–Montreat, NC–The Director of Advancement Services provides leadership and strategic management of donor information to support the College’s fundraising and communication to external constituents. 

Assistant Associate Professor of CMHC & Program Director–Charlotte, NC — The Program Director will provide vision for the future of the program, oversight to curriculum, licensure requirements and accreditation standards. 

Admissions Representative – Charlotte Campus – Charlotte, NC — The Admissions Representative is responsible for the recruitment and enrollment of prospective adult students into the School of Adult & Professional Studies programs at Montreat College.  

Administrative Assistant to Vice President for Advancement –Montreat, NC–The administrative assistant’s primary responsibility is to provide organizational and administrative support to the Vice President for Advancement of Montreat College. The Administrative Assistant is an ambassador of the College to internal and external constituents, requiring a high degree of interpersonal skills, independent judgment, maturity, and professionalism. 

Campus Liaison – Durham/Rocky Mount, NC — The Campus Liaison is responsible for the recruitment and advising for prospective graduate students regarding admissions and degree requirements, as well as enrolling students for the College’s graduate programs offered through the College’s partnership with North Carolina Wesleyan College. 

Campus Services Coordinator  (part-time) — Asheville, NC — The Campus Services Coordinator sets the overall welcoming tone of the location assigned, greeting guests and visitors at the front reception desk and answering the campus incoming phone calls.  

Campus Police Officer — Montreat, NC — Community-oriented campus police agency seeks motivated and qualified applicants for the position of Campus Police Officer.

Program Director of Adult Business Programs and Professor of Management and Leadership — Charlotte, NC — Program director will serve graduate and undergraduate business programs in the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

Database Administrator — Montreat, NC — The Database Administrator works under the direction of the Director of Technology and is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring the Montreat College database environment.

Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach — Montreat, NC — The Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach will assist the head coach in the administration of all aspects of the Women’s Soccer program.

Library Circulation Manager — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a support staff person to manage circulation services in the Montreat College Library to support all college degree programs. Some evening and weekend work is required. This is a 12-month, full-time position that reports to the Library Director.

Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Athletic Training Professional — Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified professional to serve as an Assistant Professor/Athletic Trainer in the Exercise Science/Athletic Training Concentration.

Financial Aid Counselor – Montreat, NC — The Financial Aid Counselor Supports the delivery of federal, state and institutional student financial aid and services to students in the School of Arts and Sciences.

Assistant/Associate Professor of Counseling in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program — Morganton, NC — Montreat College is currently seeking to fill two full-time Assistant/Associate Professor positions for the Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) within the School of Professional and Adult Studies (SPAS).

Special Events Coordinator–Montreat, NC–  The Events Coordinator will plan and direct all logistical aspects of special events for Alumni and Advancement offices and on occasion facilitate college events as directed by the VP for Advancement. 

Director of Nursing — Montreat, NC — The Director of Nursing provides oversight of RN to Post-degree programs: planning, development, implementation and evaluation.  The director also develops and provides leadership in curriculum development for the RN to Post-degree programs.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Adjunct Faculty Positions — The Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montreat College is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counseling, Counseling and Counselor Education, or Counselor Education and Supervision.
