Here is a listing of positions currently available, along with descriptions. The School of Arts and Sciences is our traditional program on the main campus in Montreat, and the School of Professional and Adult Studies is our accelerated adult student program with locations throughout North Carolina.


Director of Alumni Relations – Montreat, NC — This 12-month, full-time, exempt position reports to the Executive Director of Advancement, and manages alumni relations at Montreat College, including alumni communication, giving, events, and programs.

Vice President for Enrollment & Marketing – Montreat, NC — The Vice President is responsible for the development and implementation of retention, recruiting and marketing strategies consistent with the strategic plan and mission of the college.

Director of Teacher Education – Montreat, NC — The Director of Teacher Education role includes administrative leadership, oversight, coordination, and teaching responsibilities for the licensure program in Elementary Education.

Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Athletic Training Professional – Montreat, NC — Montreat College seeks a qualified professional to serve as an Assistant Professor/Athletic Trainer in the Exercise Science/Athletic Training Concentration.

Assistant or Associate Professor of Management and Leadership – Charlotte, NC — Tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor of Management and Leadership, located in Charlotte, North Carolina, serving graduate and undergraduate studies in the School of Professional and Adult Studies

Assistant or Associate Professor of Counseling in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program – Raleigh-Durham, NC and Morganton, NC — Montreat College is currently seeking to fill two full-time Assistant/Associate Professor positions for the newly added Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) within the School of Professional and Adult Studies (SPAS).

Director of Nursing – Montreat, NC — The Director of Nursing provides oversight of RN to Post-degree programs: planning, development, implementation and evaluation.  The director also develops and provides leadership in curriculum development for the RN to Post-degree programs.

Director of Student Accounts – Montreat, NC — The Director works under the direction of the VP for Enrollment Management analyzing, problem solving and maintaining student accounts. This position is primarily responsible for student accounts receivable.

Part-time Adjunct Faculty, News Editing – Montreat, NC — Teach 1.5 credit hours of a 3-credit hour lecture in CM 347: “News Editing: A practical examination of investigative reporting in print media” for the Spring 2015 semester.

Part-time Adjunct Faculty, Human Nutrition Lecture – Montreat, NC — Teach a study of human nutritional requirements, biochemical and physiological functions of nutrients and their interactions in the body, and food sources of nutrients.

Clinical Mental Health Counseling Adjunct Faculty Positions — The Master of Arts degree program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Montreat College is seeking applicants for adjunct faculty positions. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree in Counseling, Counseling and Counselor Education, or Counselor Education and Supervision.

School of Professional & Adult Studies Faculty Positions — Adjunct faculty participation in our expedited degree programs for working adults. Ongoing.
