Some of the ongoing outreach activities of Montreat's OE department include:

	BackCountry Wilderness Program
	CLIMBE is an Environmental Training and Research Center for middle and high school students and their teachers.  We offer a variety fun, informative, and enriching programs for individuals and groups, including: Summer Expeditionary Science Trips for rising 8th-12th grade students - open-enrollment, multi-day, science-intesive, adventures in the mountains of western North Carolina. Year-round Custom Science Adventures for your private group - at your location or ours, we'll provide a unique environmental learning experience for your students. School-year Portable Planetarium Programs - we bring space to your place and take your students on an in-house journey through the universe. 	At the Team and Leadership Center, you will experience transformation through specifically designed, objective-based workshops that cater to the needs of your group. We desire to give you the opportunity to help foster group development. we have recently completed our new state of the art challenge course complex. Our facility is not just another ropes course; it is designed to challenge you and your group physically, cognitively, emotionally, and cohesively. These challenges aid in overcoming obstacles to trust and communication, fostering leadership transformation and facilitating dynamic, team-oriented relationships.
