Dr. Kimberly Angle, Assistant Professor of English at Montreat College, has just recieved word that her novel Hummingbird (Farrar Straus & Giroux, 2008) has just been selected as a finalist for the 2010 Children's Crown Award. Each year 20 titles are selected from hundreds of nominations for the award. This year's winner will be announced sometime in May.
