Why Major in Communication?


Every course at Montreat College blends a Biblical worldview with scholarship. Communication courses explore how language and images can be employed to create meaningful messages in the new virtual public square and cultural dialog. This major will equip you to influence, encourage, think critically, and teach as an agent of transformation, renewal and reconciliation.

The Communication major at Montreat College will reveal and develop your communication gifts in person-to-person situations as well as your ability to craft compelling messages in all forms of mass media.
